General Tailoring Questions

Kindly note that prices for custom dresses and gowns will vary based on the design and the amount of fabric required. However, we invite our valued clients to contact us should they require a quotation.
Sukhumvit Tailor operates on an appointment-only basis to ensure we can give each client our full attention. You may request an appointment here.
Yes, we are able to replicate designs from photos and existing garments. Kindly note that if you’re looking for the same pattern fabric, it is not always possible. However, you will be presented with some options that may be suitable.

Fabric & Customisation
Yes, our clients may choose their lining fabric, buttons and other details. We present you with several options that are included with the price of your garment.
Yes, we have a variety of Italian suiting fabrics our clients may choose from, and premium options for other garments as well.
Suit & Dressmaking Services
Yes, we offer formal wear tailoring services for ladies and gents. This includes dinner jackets, morning coats, ball gowns and other formal wear.
We tailor skirt suits, pant suits, and dresses in a variety of styles.
We tailor clothing to your measurements. This means garments can be tailored for clients no matter their size.
Kindly note that oversize charges may apply for certain garments as there will be additional fabric and work involved.
Fitting & Alterations
The number of fittings required depends on the garment in question. For suits and wedding dresses, we generally require 3-4 fittings. For other garments, our clients can expect 2-3 fittings.
Fittings are utilised to ensure a perfect fit. For suits, you will find that your first fitting will be a baste fitting. This allows us to begin making the adjustments to your suit to ensure a preferable fit. For other garments, the process is somewhat similar and there is no expectation for a perfect fit from the first fitting alone.
At this time, we only offer alterations services for suits commissioned with Sukhumvit Tailor.

In the case that you are not a Bangkok resident and you do not wish to carry your garments home with you, we can courier the clothes to your home address. Kindly note that courier prices will depend on the destination country.
